At the end of April, the Naturevolution team met on the southeastern branch of Sulawesi Island to lay the foundations for an ambitious project: the Konawe Plastic Project aims to reduce ocean pollution in a sublime lost world, but sorely lacking a waste management system.

Implementing exemplary, sustainable waste management in coastal villages on the southeastern island of Sulawesi. Clean-ups will raise awareness and provide training in sorting in the villages, and a collection circuit will be set up. A recycling chain will also be developed to maximize the value of waste.

Pendant 4 semaines, Naturevolution prendra ses quartiers dans les villages de pêcheurs situés au cœur de l’archipel et aux abords de la péninsule de Sombori. De là, nous explorerons la région de fond en comble à la recherche de vestiges archéologiques y compris sous-marins et réaliserons l’inventaire biologiques complet des récifs coralliens de l’archipel.
